Zelensky demands Ukraine join NATO

Over the weekend Volodymyr Zelensky returned to begging for an expedited NATO membership. Claiming they are already working together and ready.

“De facto, we have already proven interoperability with the Alliance’s standards, they are real for Ukraine — real on the battlefield and in all aspects of our interaction,” Zelensky

NATO Active on Ukraine Battlefield

Sadly what that all means is that NATO is operating already with Ukraine both on and off the battlefield. This plays into the hands of Russia’s claim that NATO is in Ukraine and it is NATO who is trying to destroy Russia.

Asked about Ukraine joining the alliance, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg told reporters that “every democracy in Europe” has the right to apply for NATO membership except Russia, as they are also part of Europe. He noted that the NATO alliance is more focused on helping Kyiv destroy Russia.

Zelensky Constant Absurd Demands

Ukrainian Volodymyr Zelensky has made a number of absurd requests over the course of his country’s war with Russia. He’s asked the U.S. and its NATO allies for fighter jets, access to NATO airfields, tanks, anti-aircraft weaponry, a U.S. imposed no-fly zone, boycotts on Russian energy, and crippling sanctions. All of these pail in comparison to Zelensky’s latest ask: an accelerated bid to join NATO.

Zelensky has been acting like the leader of the western world with absurd demands that sadly many have actually been afforded him. With the USA spending about $23 billion to fund US satellite and intelligence from space and on the ground direction Ukraine has been able to brutally attack both Russian forces and Ukrainians fighting for the right of independence and self determination since 2014 in the eastern part of the State.

But, as the American Observer pointed out:

Shame on Zelensky for making a political stunt out of a potential nuclear war. Regardless, Zelensky’s NATO application, genuine or feigned, shows a contemptible disregard for the consequences of his actions…. if Ukraine is able to join NATO, the United States will permanently foot the bill for Ukraine’s national defense.

The Minsk agreements could have saved us all

All in all the whole fiasco in the Ukraine could have been avoided if Zelensky had made good on his main promise to win election, bringing peace to the nation by abiding by the Minsk Agreement. In this post shows a video of Zelensky in his first months TRYING to get the Ukrainian military to lay down their arms and start to make good on his promise. He failed miserably as the military read him the riot act and took control of the government and the narrative.

The USA, NATO and EU understand that to support a totally corrupt nation is not the best of ideas even if it does destroy Russia.
