NATO Celebrates 23 Years Since Yugoslavia Destruction
NATO Defense Alliance On The Move
After its’ recent victory after 20 years and $3 Trillion spent in Afghanistan the alliance is once again ready to stretch its muscles. What better day to meet and make it defensive plans public than in March 25, celebrating the 23rd anniversary of defensive bombing of Serbia. With 12,000 bombings and 3000 missiles launched along with spreading depleted uranium today is a commemoration for the victims of NATO defense bombing against Yugoslavia which started on March 24, 1999.
On the evening of March 24, 1999, the secretary general of NATO, Javier Solana, a Spanish diplomat, authorized aircraft operating under the auspices of NATO to begin bombing targets in Serbia, that is EUROPE. It was no coincidence that the first aircraft to drop bombs on Serbia were F/A-18s belonging to the Spanish Air Force. Go Spain!
NATO Defending by Destruction
For 78 days in 1999, NATO forces led by the United States bombed Yugoslavia, killing hundreds of its civilians and devastating its infrastructure. NATO spokesmen justified the bombardment as “humanitarian intervention” aimed at halting President Slobodan Milosevic’s “ethnic cleansing” of non-Serbs in Yugoslavia. In other words, defending through dealing death to anyone outside NATO thinking.
NATO in Iraq
By 2003 the first stage of the “Iraq War.” Beginning on 19 March 2003 with air bombardment and the next day on the ground. The war lasted just over one month, including 26 days of major combat operations, in which a combined force of troops from the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia and Poland invaded Iraq. All this brought about by the perfection of the USA in its’ “intelligence assessment” made famous by the lies told the world by Colin Powel at the UN. After decades of search no WMD has been found, an invasion based on lies, over 900,000 dead, and not one sanction against the USA, UK, Australia or Poland for the destruction and massive deaths caused by US lies.
NATO 20 Year War
At the same time NATO joined with the USA in the invasion and take over of Afghanistan. A 20 year war that really was based on the fact that the USA wanted to extradite Osama bin Laden, who was in Pakistan, without going through any legal channels for extradition. In fact the Taliban asked for proof and NATO provided defense, which looked more like war than any peace I know. This war drained $3 trillion from the USA wealth, thousands of American deaths and destroyed or displaced almost half of the Afghanistan population. Defending NATO as defenders of peace and prosperity around the globe.
NATO Participates in Destruction of Libya
NATO destruction of Libya is never mentioned in the mainstream Western media, which is not surprising because the place is a catastrophic shambles as a result of the US-NATO Operation Unified Protector in 2011 during which the military alliance carried out 9,658 airstrikes and several hundred cruise missile attacks in seven months of war (defense) against the Libyan government. Defending once again nations whose rulers just do not get the NATO laws.
NATO Claim As Defensive Is Offensive
As you can see from this very brief outline of massive defense spending and efforts NATO is not an offensive force, it is force for good and has brought freedom and liberty to the people of Libya, Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria and soon Russia. Of course this defense is all about Ukraine, a wonderful nation whose sensibilities are totally NATO like. You are either with them, or against them, if you think otherwise you will be dragged through the streets, stripped of your bank accounts, and held up for public ridicule. NATO is a peace keeping organization whose goal is defense. Defense of democracy, freedom, banking, and US rule of law. Ask protestors in Canada how that works.
