John Clifton A Much Better Choice Than Spitzer for New York Governor 2006.

John Clifton is a social worker who opposes the welfare state, a former drug abuse counselor who opposes the drug war, and a former Ballistic Fire Control Technician on nuclear submarines who opposes the Clinton-Bush policy of military adventurism. He has advocated for servicemen's benefits, advocate for property rights, and against eminent domain abuse.

John Clifton&39;s platfom reads of tax freedom, a restoration of the right to bare arms, am end to the drug war and am end to the wars in foreign nations that we are involved now. John Clifton speaks as a rational man and not owned by corporations.

"When I raised my hand and made an oath to serve the Navy, I pledged to defend my country's interests in war, not NATO's, not the UN's, not the EU's, not any international bureaucracy or internationalist interest.

We must end the urge to play superpower; (read policeman). The job of the military is to defend our borders, not to initiate force abroad; fifty years after WWII and ten years after the Cold war, it is time to bring home our troops and shrink our forces to a level to protect our country alone.
